Teaching / Workshops

I'd LOVE to visit your guild / shop to teach a class, a workshop, talk about sewing & quilting, or give a trunk show. Or I can show up and juggle, but I'm not great at that...

I find building community and strengthening relationships is THE BEST feeling in the world.

I don't consider myself an "expert" on anything because there is ALWAYS MORE to learn. I'm close on sewing vinyl though LOL!

I DO consider myself a student of intense study on ENTHUSIASM and JOY ----- (I block news headlines) -- so if you're down for an hour or more of letting go of pesky rules and regulations, here I am!

Lecture topics
(suggestions are always welcome FYI):

-Creating amazing bags and quilts with vinyl.

-The Beginner's Guide to BEGINNING.
(Sewing and quilting in general, ignoring that voice in your head that says you're not good enough, ignoring the perfection seeking, making for the love of making.)

-Garment sewing baby steps with street wise tips and tricks + tried & true pattern discussion.

-How to get yourself published without feeling like a jerk (I've been there).
Self promotion is hard yo.

-Bag Makers Guide to the Galaxy: simple tricks to make it easier, faster, and more enjoyable + tried and true pattern discussion.

-Sewing for Cash: What nobody tells you when you start selling your makes + tips to stay sane.
