I planned a really long, informative post about this book and some quilts I've done lately. Healing style, improvisational, and soul freeing. But to be honest, right now my heart hurts. I don't know what to think about the world right now. All I know is something has got to change.

Worldwide.     N O W.

Maybe tomorrow I can talk quilts.

I know you understand.

Having lived overseas for a good part of my adult life, this is too close to home.

I mean, it's going to be alright....  ..  right?

What can a person do but keep breathing?
Stick with the status quo.

Keep going.

Somehow, believe things W I L L get better.

What you think about e x p a n d s .

So forgive me if I don't join in the conversation about "breaking news"---because to me, it does cause breaking-  of the heart.

And I'm not willing to be in that state right now.

We all have the same worries I think, keeping our families safe, healthy, and happy.
Sometimes I have this feeling of wanting to scoop my family up and run away to the mountains somewhere, where nobody can find us.

I don't know...

I just don't know.

I have to believe that love will prevail.

The only Bible verse I remember- "Love never fails." (First Corinthians Thirteen)

On that note, I'll be tuning out this week from social media. I haven't been active lately due to needing a break from it all, but now I feel like it's totally justified.

Join me and meditate on love.
You don't have to know how. Just think loving thoughts deep in your heart.

Thank you friends.
And love to you.

  1. I understand how you feel, there is so much going on around the world and close to home, it can be heartbreaking. My favorite saying to help me get through the tough times is, Let go and Let God. That is all we can do and try to make a difference in our corner of the world. Today is the candlelight service for those who have passed this year, in our church, but I think when we light the candles, we will be thinking about all those who have lost their lives and send extra prayers to them, as well.
