The Bunting Flag Quilt project

To me there is nothing more English than buntings and tea.
Maybe cream scones too.
Perhaps the Monarchy should be mentioned as well. . .

Never mind, let's carry on with this project.

I didn't use a pattern, so you don't need one either. Cut out fifty one triangles and place them in a pleasing order on your quilt top and applique. I used delicate lace for the stringing together bit. I should mention that Wunder Under will save your life in the applique process too. Yeah. Majorly. Click here to buy.

Pin flags to quilt top, iron them on with Wunder Under, then applique each row. Row by row. It might make you slightly neurotic, but nothing a few bars of chocolate and a gallon of tea can't remedy.

Easy does it.

Steadyyyy.

Quick chocolate break.
Wash hands we don't like brown fingerprints. LOL Ewwe.

My sewing room is ALWAYS a mess. I only tidy up when I know visitors are coming......

I console myself with the fact that a lot artists are clutter happy, messy, perhaps a bit neglectful of domestic arts every now and then..... and yet totally together.

*Just go with it, don't rain on my parade. LOL

That's a wrap!

What are you working on this week?

  7. Aw, this was an exceptionally nice post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to make a superb article… but what can I say… I put things off a lot and don't manage to get nearly anything done.
