This is why I haven't been blogging much this week: three quilts start to finish.

My brain this week:
Deadlines. Pressure. Getting out of that dreaded "box".
Having fun.Quilting till the wee hours of the morning, hoping I'm not waking my neighbors with the whirring of my machine. Will there be enough coffee in the morning for the school run? Don't make a mistake. Get creative. Binding needs to be perfect. Did I buy enough fabric? Uh oh, I need more batting!
Cra$^&**&^#^@!(*!

Saved. Relax. Time to take pictures.

Deep breath.

 Gratitude.

My "American Dreams" quilt I made up on a whim. I love her, and will be sad to see her go. Made with all Kona cotton solids, I love the color play of fuchsia, aqua, blue, and white. I used Amy Butler fabric to make the binding, giving it a nice pOp finish.

The Anna Marie Horner fat quarter quilt- done in crosses with a Michael Miller mini hounds tooth binding. I used Kona cotton in "snow" for the backing. I really struggle with quilting boxes/squares-- it is so challenging to me, not sure what I'm doing wrong but I pull my hair out every time.

The Union Jack quilt in pastel boxes, patch work at its best in my opinion. I used larger four inch squares for this one. I love these colors so much.

Some Glory love. This is made with Michael Miller fabric.

I finally got around to updating my Etsy shop too! I am working on adding items day by day, but I get so annoyed at how much time it takes sitting at the computer LOL. Does anyone else feel my pain on this one?

I put some Holiday Pack buntings in the shop too- a set of five for the price of four.
I tell my friends all the time they can make these for themselves, but usually people are too busy ...  .. ..
We all know how that goes.

I made a table runner with some amazing Jennifer Paganelli Lucky Girl fabric. The back is the ever awesome mod Remix line from Kaufman fabrics. I love the mixing of these two lines.

It is really dangerous to look at Jennifer's fabric lines, they all are so utterly gorgeous....I could buy twenty yards at once and still "need" more.

Then, to make my week even better, a friend stopped by on her way to Poland and brought me this bundle of fabric! I really love orange, especially lately. It is so exciting to receive fabric! Thank you Lisa!

Today I'm working on a bunting quilt-I'll share pics later this week.

What are you working on?

We have a month left of school and I can't wait for it to be done with! I'm ready to chillax and explore with my kiddies.

My husband is forcing me to watch Robocop with him, and he's really annoyed I'm typing...so I guess I'll end this post and see you soon.  (Oh must I?)

lololol

Or I could keep gabbing about fabric lines....

Ok
ok I'm outy.
