Home made FUDGE sauce recipe with coconut cream



















Thick yummy fudge sauce-- I think it might be Heaven on Earth. Here's my personal recipe for homemade fudge made with coconut cream (instead of heavy cream).  It will take you about 10 minutes.  


2/3 cup coconut cream (not milk)
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup brown sugar (dark brown pref.)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
pinch salt
6 oz dark chocolate -I used Swiss and Belgian baking chocolate bars, 72% cocoa
2 tbs butter  (not margerine)
2 tsp vanilla extract


Break the chocolate into two portions---then set one portion aside.

Take one portion and break it into smallish pieces. Put the coconut cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, coco powder, and salt into saucepan and heat over med high, stirring constantly. 

Bring to a light boil for 5 minutes then remove from heat. Stir in the rest of the chocolate, the butter, and vanilla until nice and smooth. 


Pour into your canning jars or containers and refrigerate. When you want to use it heat it up in the microwave and stir. It's lovely!
