Fresh home made Pesto Recipes

We made these three pesto sauces with ingredients fresh from the garden. With a food processor you can whip this up in a few minutes.

I reused jam jars, because I'm partial to the gingham lids you know.

Roast the nuts in the oven (350F) for 10 minutes. It brings out such a lovely flavor.

Assemble all ingredients. Blender at the ready, put everything in at once and blend/process for 30 seconds. Done.

I've made three recipes for you to choose from. I am partial to Mad Mint probably due to Don Draper's influence, but don't tell anyone, it's embarrassing.

Meanwhile, we have planted more seedlings this week.
One can never have enough Basil.
Or cilantro.
Or mint (mojitos!).

  1. Oh, my gosh. Those look delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipes, Natalie. I so wish I were a gardener. I can't even keep the potted plants from the shops alive. I'm so pathetic that way. lol I will be purchasing the supplies to make my own pesto, though. I can handle that. :p
