I know-never.use.flash.again.
This jumper is from a thrift shop that I couldn't pass up due to the itty bitty oh-so-cute pink hearts (and the stripes-we all know I love my stripes). So I cut it up for a pillow- upcycling win.
So cute.
I made some arm warmers out of the sleeves too, I love arm warmers. I feel like a super fast bicycle racer when I wear them. Just so you know.
I like the zombie stitch as well. Sometimes I am so impatient, I just can't help myself. Zombie stitch it is then.
Then it was time to use more of that lush pink flannel quilt backing (from a few posts ago-the hounds tooth quilt) and made a pillow with PIPING! Yes it deserves full on caps lock because guys-this was a first for me. I made this super sexy red hot piping from cording I have had in my stash for umm....perhaps five years...but that's besides the point.
The main point is- I used it up, made this pillow, and now I am a recycling genius in my own eyes. And that's all that matters, right? Riiiiiiiiight? ;)
I drew out these letters because I wanted something kinda 80's-ish yet modern yet classic.
Then hand stitched them with a back stitch (thank you Jenny at Sublime Stitching for teaching me this via your webshop).
I love how it turned out, and I reeeeeally love saying "amorrrre" in a fake Italian accent, because let's face facts-everything sounds better in Italian.
So, I have one more Valentine Craft for you, but it will have to wait for tomorrow because now it's time for...........photo montage. Yesssssssssssss.
Me after I hear a photo montage is coming up.
I took this shot in York. Darlings, if you ever get a chance to go, GO. York is ahhhhmazing.

woohoo, a loveapalooza! I also agree that everything sounds better with an Italian accent! DH and I took Italian one then, moved on to... Italian one again. We'll keep taking Italian one til we can say something in Italian! I exaggerate. Caio Bella
