Colette Patterns- Sewing the Sorbetto Top

This top was made with Anna Marie Horner's fabric in linen, using the free pattern download offered by Sarai of Colette patterns- The Sorbetto Top.  I made this top in less than 90 minutes, and that's including my fretting over the box pleat. (Totally easy, I was over thinking it, as usual.)

I cut the size 6 as instructed according to measurements, but I think next time I will cut the 4 as it's a boxier top than what I normally wear. In the summer this will be super cute with rolled up boyfriend jeans, don't ya think?! :)

I didn't make any alterations from the pattern ('cause I don't know how to do that anyways).

A big shout out to my gal over at Gingermakes for recommending this top to me. She is a sewing jedi master and I look up to her for inspiration and "know-how".

My brain is swirling this week with a zillion projects on the board, several cut out, and more almost finished. However I'm still battling this weird sort-of-sick feeling that prevents me from drinking my beloved coffee, so my posts may be short this week. Such is life.

:D

  2. Love your Sorbetto top - that fabric is just fab! I made a couple of them last summer and agree, they're so simple to do. So much so that I've got another one all cut out - just need some time to get it sewn.
