Last year.
Look at Mia's face. LOL
We're readying the house for Halloween. These jacks were the 2010 attempt at carving. I know.....don't laugh.
This year I hope to improve my skills. ;)
Meanwhile, that sewing machine hasn't quit smokin' from all the use. Hobby or obsession?
hmmmmm....
I'm a total bunting addict. I confess.
We had a go at this craft:
Epic fail.
Ya win some, ya loose some. Sigh.

As for decorating,
I'm thinking of doing au natural this year, eco crafts and bringing the outdoors IN. Maybe spray painted branches in white and then glittering them up...pressed leaf art...sprigs of dried lavender and rosemary...vases of acorns and buckeyes...(brainstorming here).

How do you decorate for Halloween/Fall/Thanksgiving?
That look on Mias face is priceless along with the concentration on yours. Great job.
ReplyDeleteWow, so many wonderful and festive photos! So glad to be participating in Flying Lessons with so many remarkable and talented women!
ReplyDeleteNot as epic fail as when I tried to make crayons into shapes and the mould (an ice mould :-) melted in the oven nearly gasing me out lol
ReplyDeleteHello there! Great blog. I totally understand your obsession with sewing! Love the little skeleton doll. I love making stuffed dolls , toys, clothing etc for my little nieces and nephews. Loved your spotty pumpkin too! Keep up the good work! See you in Flying Lessons
