Growing Veg
I can't believe it's taken me this long to realize I can grow my own salad.
Lettuce, arugula, tomatoes, cilantro, and carrots. I do realize people have grown their own food for the majority of human existence....but for me it was a challenge. I have no green thumb. I don't have tons of time to weed and water, (mainly because I choose to do other things)....but this has given me such pleasure, to be able to go outside my patio door and cut my own lettuce. Pick my own tomatoes. Smell my own cilantro and crush it in my palm. So simple. So gratifying.
Give it a go.
If I can do it, you surely can.

I can only imagine the pride you have in growing your own salad, Natalie! The tomatoes we purchase in the store are tasteless, but the tomatoes we pick up at the local veg stand are succulent and full of flavor. That alone is the perfect reason to try growing my own! Love this post. Have a wonderful week.

I am not a green thumb at all (I would rather be sewing!) but, I do really love planting out our vege garden and reaping the rewards...I know exactly how you feel.
