Peonies make me happy.

 I Peonies.

A rose from my garden.

I did a dresser makeover, complete with paint and "distressing" techniques. I'll post on it later, still need to attach the knobs. But wait- look at my fancy "dresser-scape"....complete with antique perfume bottles and hobnail trinkets.
Oh dear, I do love this.

These books are from the 1820's, all about Victorian London.
The mirror was a "boot sale" find- only 2 quid ($3.50)....and the candelabra was an awful brass color that I spray painted pink.  Various perfume bottles from estate sales.
That cute birdy cost me 50 pence (.75)

Here are some tulips I bought myself at the grocer:
(Buying fresh flowers and wine makes me feel European. Go fig.)

...oh, and Mia neeeeeeeded this:

Have a lovely day.

  1. Just lovely darling, just lovely.

And now catch some flies or bugs for thos Flytraps!

  2. I only wish Peonies would last longer! Your dresser make over is beautiful. Don't you just love estate sales. I just found amazing things this weekend and will be re-purposing to my Etsy store soon. My weakness is vintage linens! Love the bird too.

I appreciate every comment, thanks so much for taking the time. It means A LOT to me. :)
