Here's my newly made clothes peg holder, complete with ruffles and mismatched fabrics. I found the idea in Burdastyle magazine.
I LOVE that mag! My only gripe-I can't follow the pattern lines they print on the fold out patterns. There are ...a MILLION different lines in all different colors, going every which way.
If I like a make in the mag enough, I just buy the pattern online. Anyone have a method for following these patterns in the magazine- I'd love to hear it!
I didn't use a pattern, it's an easy enough project to just draw out yourself. I added the bow and button, and made my opening close more on the sides. I found it gaped open too much for my liking, so I just stitched the ends up a bit. ♥
If you haven't heard of Burdastyle you will love it! It's a German sewing magazine, printed in English as well as other languages. Though it can be difficult to find, it's worth a "cozy up" to your nearest newsstand proprietor. I order this and Paris Vogue through my go-to source in New Market.
These are my treats every month to myself.
This is a pattern I'm wanting to try--and only $5.40 on Burdastyle.com
Amazing! Inspiration abounds at Burdastyle ...check 'em out today.
I'm in no way attached to or paid for this info-I'm simply sharing some sewing resources that I find lovely.
Just so you know. :o)
