I need some sunshine...

Taking a tiny break this week to attend to family affairs.  It begins... Feb 14th is the date the journey will start.
I'll need my blogging friends more than ever. I don't really know what else to say, other than-- "I'll be back" in a few days.

Such is the life of a military family. I'm not in despair, I am simply uncertain of what to expect.

  1. My heart goes out to you, even if we don't truly "know" each other. It's not easy when our back-up support, our best friend, our shoulder that we depend on goes away, even for brief moments in time (as I have experienced...my iron man would leave for a week, up to 10 days. I'm not strong...I was a puddle.) But you WILL make it...we are all here for you, even if it's just bloggerville. Please post, please smile, and feel free to "lean" on us in the interim.

  2. PS. I LOVE that picture. I have found a new love for pink...a color I have been known to despise....thanks!

  3. I love, love this picture. I mean I would really love to hang it in my house! I am so going to steal the idea. I will be praying for you. I know how hard it can be to be a pseudo single parent for a while. I am here for you anytime you need someone and in anyway that I can be here. :)

  4. wow. Look at all the people "there" for you in blogger land :) I am here too, always call me, even at 2 am. That's always been the deal for us :) And I'm working on the first week of april, just trying to see if prices can come down a little!! Cherish this week with each other. I cannot imagine how you are feeling. xoxox :(

  5. p.s. I also LOVE this picture. Like hang over the bed good.

  6. hi i found your blog thru 'modge podge rocks'-i love your tutorials and pix. just wanted to tell you that i'm a Proud Army Mom with a son who made it home safely from afghanistan in july. i can relate to your fears. you are as brave as your husband. thank you both for being who you are and serving to protect us all.
