Sew it! The Wire Hanger Makeover

There are lots of ways to cover those pesky wire hangers. This is my version of the fabric cover, done in about 10 minutes.

Pin and Sew:

Remember to leave that tiny hole at the top for the wire hanger hook to fit through.

While still inside out, fold under bottom hem and sew it:

Done!

Have you heard of a BOG Coat? They're supposedly 4000 yr old garments that our ancestors wore, and are still around being sewn today. (The coats, not our ancestors.) I thought I'd try my hand at it, and now it's my favorite "house coat" if you know what I mean. Not quite a robe, not quite a coat...

Maybe I'll name it the Houndstooth London Wrap.
That sounds more chic.
(sheeeek...not chick.) hahaha

I have to remind myself everytime how to say that word. I'm so not French.

  5. It's hard to guess wire hanger can be shaped so nice way if I would not take my sudden tour to your wonderful fashioned blog. The fabric also looks so cute and decent and I like your Bog coat of course. Thank lot for creating such innovative makeover with just 10 minutes efforts. Love it extremely. Also I am going to share a lovely cloths rack site. Hope you all enjoy its beauty. https://www.bolun-rack.com/
