Sewing Clothes: The Stella Skirt

I've been on a sewing binge lately, so here is my latest: an old world skirt with plenty of ruffle magic. I purchased The Stella Skirt here, by Lila Tueller.

I made this with black cotton lawn and black china silk for the lining. It's very light and breezy.

I know, my shoes aren't quite right...oh well.

I'm SO EXCITED for FALL! I had to wear my furry boots last night during an outdoor music festival, ohhhh, it was so cozy.

The chill in the air is here, in England.

  1. Hi Natalie: I think your new skirt is beautiful, and it looks perfect on you! I think I'm your swap partner in the cuff swap and am looking forward to trading with you. (If you're Natalie S. with an APO address, that is.) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you are! ;-)
Can't wait to see what you whip up this week!
