Float away in this Ruffle Skirt

I made this skirt from Simplicity Pattern No. 2412 "It's so Easy" line....it was easy, though ruffles are time consuming!  I think the fabric reminds me of Monet's paintings.

I added the fringe at the bottom--I have a thing with ripped fabric. Something about it calls to me. I left off one tier and added the guazy turquoise fringe instead. (Yes, I'm off kilter like that.)

  1. Crazy love the skirt! I love the fingie too! I don't know about my button and the funny thing about it is I have saved yours to my computer and can't figure out how to get it on there. The ones I do have (buttons on my blog) are the ones the gal who designed my new look did. I need major help. I will find out about mine from her and I will still try to get yours on. I WILL make it happen because it is driving me crazy!!! lol!
