Grow Your Blog

This post is for the "Grow Your Blog" party hosted by 2 Bags Full

Hey everyone! I'm Natalie of Hungry Hippie, and I blog about sewing, quilting, and those bits in between called L I F E.  Mostly I blog so I can remember how to make something at a later time, or how to cook a certain dish, because I know I will forget.
I can barely get out the door with shoes on rather than my slippers...

Life is busy, so here on Hungry Hippie I slow it down and relive those special moments. I hope you'll get a cuppa and join me.

Here are a few pics of things I fancy.

;)

A baby quilt I made for a lovely friend.

 Pretty fabrics

 Pretty papers

Gorgeous men.

Gorgeous Sunsets.

Gorgeous thin crust pizzas made at home with my two darlings.

Needlework done in spare blocks of time. This went to a very special friend of mine living in the Suffolk countryside.

Linen table mats. (Made for a beautiful lady friend of mine in Cambs.)

More pretty fabric.

My 200 year old (or something like that --) coffee pot, English roses, and my old fashioned looking radio blasting Barber's Adagio for Strings.

2013 Quilts

I post here at least a few times a week, sometimes more. I love how blogging has enabled me to "meet" people across the world, and now I can count on friends on all continents. (Well, except Antarctica LOL!)   Connecting in this day and age can be trying, but the blog has given me much joy in this friend-making aspect,  and in making me work harder to get those classic photos, or to sew something fabulous, or to simply to revel in my own little piece of home made glory.
;)

See you soon friends.

Thank you for hosting this connecting party Vicki at 2 Bags Full

  6. Natalie, welcome to the Grow Your Blog Hop! I volunteered to help Vicki as a party volunteer. Vicki will stop by sometime I am sure, but with more than 500 blogs participating it will take her time to visit everyone so she asked for volunteers to help today. I offered to help. I am so happy I did because I have found your blog. I love your Chef's Hat tute -- I'll be bookmarking that to make for my granddaughters!
