Born June 3, 1910
My Gramma Mickel was like sunshine.
She was always happy, and genuinely so...
She's an inspiration for us all to live a better, happier life--even when times are tough.
I will always remember talking with her over iced tea (hot tea in the winter).
She was "quintessentially English" even though she was born in America. I talk about her a lot with my British friends now, and smile when they do things that she did. (Such as pronunciation of "pasta", or the use of marmalade on toast.) I find it ironic that I now live where she probably wanted to live her whole life. Maybe it's just in my head....but still.
